Pabst Racing confirmed today, the signing of Max Garcia for the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire. Coming on the heels of a championship winning USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire season with Pabst Racing, Garcia’s move up with scholarship dollars and Advance Auto Parts is official.
In just his second season (and first complete season due to age restrictions) in USF2000 with Pabst Racing, 15-year-old Max Garcia’s climb has been quick and impressive. With five race wins and ten podiums in 2024, Garcia hopes to bring the same competitive edge to the bigger car.
“My goals are to run up front and fight for wins,” said Garcia. “Making the move to USF Pro 2000 with Pabst Racing means that I get to continue to work with the best team in the USF Pro Championships paddock.”
“I always enjoy a challenge and getting to learn the bigger car has been fun.”
Garcia will pilot the Tatuus IP 22 No. 18 with partners Advance Auto Parts, Bell, OMG and Starling Design on board for 2025.
With confirmation of Max Garcia staying with Pabst Racing, Team owner Augie Pabst expressed his sentiments for his returning driver.
“It’s been a thrill to watch Max’s growth during his two seasons with us,” said Pabst. “There’s no question this Champion will be a top contender in USF Pro 2000 in 2025.”
Right after the new year, the team will continue its off-season testing program prior to an official series ‘Spring Training’ at NOLA Motorsports Park and the first race of the season in St. Petersburg.
The team will be making more driver announcements in the near future.
